Our Colorado Springs ABA services

In-Home ABA therapy

Our therapists work one-on-one with your child in your home — the place where they spend most of their time and where new skills matter most. Sessions typically run 10–30 hours per week depending on your child's care plan, with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) overseeing every program.

In-home therapy works well for families who want flexibility, parent involvement, and skills that transfer directly to daily life — meals, mornings, transitions, sibling interactions, sleep routines.

School-based ABA therapy

We work directly with Colorado Springs schools to support your child in the classroom. Our team coordinates with teachers, paraprofessionals, and IEP coordinators to reduce challenging behaviors, build communication skills, and help your child stay engaged with learning. We have experience with Colorado Springs School District 11 (D-11), Academy School District 20 (D-20), Falcon School District 49 (D-49), Cheyenne Mountain School District 12, Harrison School District 2, and Lewis-Palmer School District 38.

Parent training

ABA works best when caregivers are part of it. Our parent training program teaches you the same evidence-based techniques our therapists use, so progress continues between sessions and after therapy ends. Parent training is included with every in-home program.

Insurance we accept in Colorado

We're in-network with the major Colorado insurance plans:

We work with additional plans beyond these — call us and we'll verify your specific coverage. Tricare is especially relevant for the many military families in the Colorado Springs area (Fort Carson, Peterson Space Force Base, Schriever Space Force Base, U.S. Air Force Academy) — call us to discuss your specific Tricare plan.

Most families pay $0 out of pocket once benefits are verified, and we handle all insurance paperwork and authorizations on your behalf.

Getting started

Most Colorado Springs families go from first call to first session in 2–3 weeks.

Week 1 — Intake and verification. We learn about your child, verify your insurance, and confirm your service area is covered. You don't need a diagnosis in hand to call us — we'll guide you on next steps if you're still in the diagnostic process.

Week 2 — Assessment. A Colorado BCBA conducts a detailed assessment of your child's strengths, challenges, and goals. This is where the care plan starts taking shape.

Week 3 — Therapy begins. Once your insurance authorization is in place, your therapist begins working with your child in your home or school. The BCBA stays involved throughout — supervising sessions, adjusting the plan, and meeting with you regularly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does ABA therapy cost in Colorado Springs?

For most families with in-network insurance, ABA therapy costs $0 out of pocket. Health First Colorado (Medicaid) covers ABA fully for eligible children. Tricare covers ABA for military dependents diagnosed with autism. Private insurance coverage varies — we verify your benefits before therapy starts so there are no surprises.

My child doesn't have an autism diagnosis yet. Can we still start?

Call us anyway. We can't begin therapy without a diagnosis, but we can help you understand the process and connect you with Colorado Springs diagnostic providers.

What ages do you work with?

We work with children from early intervention age through adolescence. Most of our clients are between ages 2 and 12.

Do you offer center-based ABA?

No — we're in-home and school-based only. If your child needs a center-based program, we can refer you to a Colorado Springs provider who offers it.

We're a military family on Tricare. Do you work with us?

Yes. We work with Tricare-eligible families across Colorado Springs and the surrounding bases. Call us with your specific Tricare plan (Prime, Select, etc.) and we'll verify coverage.

What if my insurance plan isn't listed above?

Call us. We work with additional plans beyond those shown and can verify whether your specific plan covers ABA in Colorado.
